TALLAHASSEE — After an unexpected weekend off from play, the road doesn't get easier for Florida State who takes on Virginia this Saturday. The Cavaliers, a mid-tier team in the ACC based on conference standings but FSU head coach Mike Norvell and company, not taking any of that into consideration.
UVA comes into Saturday’s contest averaging 31 points a game, an explosive offense led by their man under center, quarterback Brennan Armstrong.
The FSU defense is tasked with another daunting challenge this weekend. Creating yet another scenario where the Seminoles will have to play a nearly perfect game to keep themselves in a position to come out with a win at home.
We’ve got to play with the same mentality. We have to find opportunities to run the football, win those one on ones in all aspects," said Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell. "These are games you like to play in because it’s going to be a team that does things the right way and you have to play at a high level to put yourself in the position to achieve success.”
That game kicking off at 8 p.m. Saturday night from Doak Campbell Stadium.
