TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Rattlers will be back on the field this Fall and kicked it off Sunday by opening up ticket sales for the season.
FAMU is looking to welcome fans back to the stands after having to cancel last season due to the pandemic.
The university is eliminating paper tickets, now going 100 percent mobile this season.
FAMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Kortne Gosha says they expect this season to be big with them moving from the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference to the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
"We're really excited about the team and the staff that we have coming back next year to really take the program to places we haven't been. So we're excited about what we're going to bring to the table but we get to welcome some very very exciting fan bases to Tallahassee next year," said Gosha.
Gosha said they are working on a safety plan if the virus is still a problem by the time the season kicks off.
