QUINCY, FL — A pedestrian was hit by a car in Quincy on Saturday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a woman entered the car's direct path on West Jefferson Street in Quincy. The driver was unable to stop.
FHP says the 78-year-old died a short time later from her injuries.
The driver was not hurt and stayed on scene after the accident.
