TALLAHASSEE, Fl.a (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.
Consignments by Jane says, "We're Open, Tallahassee," and has been for 39 years.
Jane Davie opened her consignment store in Market Square 1981 before moving to her new location three years ago.
She says right now, they are keeping their doors open with new safety measures, so customers can continue to shop.
They're practicing social distancing with customers, cleaning and disinfecting on a continuous basis, and using common sense when interacting with each person.
"A lot of people come here for lunch hour, for therapy, for sanctuary, enjoy searching for treasures," said Davie. "I'm hoping we can go on, so they can come back and do what they do, just to shop in here. They enjoy our company and we enjoy their company."
Consignments by Jane is located at 3252 Mahan Drive, next to Country Dollar.
