TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - WTXL's Turkey Drive 2018 succeeded because many individuals, groups and businesses in the Big Bend came out to provide hot meals for the less fortunate this Thanksgiving holiday.
Frozen turkeys and monetary donations were delivered all day Thursday to the site at Ponce De Leon Park and turned over to the Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
Thanks to your donations, the drive raised $23,565 and netted 442 turkeys. That means that people in our communities will receive 94,260 meals.
