(WWBT) - If you have Amazon Prime and your purchases do not arrive in the two-day guaranteed window, you can get an extra month added to your Prime membership.
All you need to do is contact Amazon's customer service by calling them or going to amazon.com.
If you do this online, you will get a prompt that says, "What can we help you with?" Then you click on "an order I placed" and then "shipment is late." Amazon will then ask how you would like them to contact you, and you can choose email, phone, or chat.
You will then likely see a message apologizing for the late delivery and a promise to extend your membership by a month.
This perk is a semi-secret but dig deep into the fine print on Prime, and you will see you can request a prime extension up to 12 times a year. While this isn't as good as getting your orders on time, it is a way to get a nice perk for trouble.
