WAKULLA CO., Fla. -- The Wakulla High School Cross Country Boosters will hold their first 5K fundraiser ,the WHS Cross Country Freedom 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run," on Saturday, June 29.
The event will begin at 8:00 a.m and will be held at Wakulla Springs. The cost to participate will vary, but race day registration is $25. The proceeds to benefit both the boys and girls cross country teams by assisting with, among other things, the costs of summer running camp, team uniforms and the costs of attending races.
Participants will run a new course for runners familiar with other races held at Wakulla Springs. Participants will run from the picnic area to Cherokee Sink and back.
