WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Wakulla 4-H Extension Office played a big role in getting supplies to those in need following Hurricane Michael.
They distributed thousands of pounds of food, cleaning supplies and baby items to those who needed it most.
Now they're shifting focus to help children in surrounding counties.
Sopchoppy Mayor Laura Edwards: "So right now we're starting a new campign this week which will be supplies for kids, because as you know, several counties have schools out until further notice so we'll be taking crayons books activities, shoes, socks things like that so we can move to focus on those kids."
