TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The attorney who is representing the victim in the domestic battery case involving FSU running back Karlos Williams says that he has asked the Tallahassee Police Department to stop the investigation.

Attorney Nathan Prince says that he told TPD to stop the investigation and that he will be submitting a formal request to end it.

He said that his client will not talk to investigators and has not filed a domestic battery complaint. Prince also said that there is not a probable cause for Williams' arrest, since there would not be any witness testimony.

According to Prince, Williams and the victim used to be a couple and have a child together.

Attorney Don Pumphrey, who is Prince's partner at their law firm Pumphrey & Prince, spoke to WTXL about the request to drop the investigation.
