VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--Valdosta State University's chief of staff resigns.
University leaders say they were notified of Dr. Kimberly Luse's resignation Monday afternoon.
This comes after an incident on Friday where campus police officers say they encountered Dr. Luse walking in front of Palms Dining Hall. They say she appeared to be in need of assistance and under the influence of alcohol.
No charges have been filed. She was named chief of staff in July of last year.
