VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Anyone interested in a career in fire services is invited to attend the Valdosta 'Firefighters Career Expo'.
It will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Valdosta Fire Department Station #1, located at 106 South Oak Street.
VFD will be accepting applications for employment at the career expo.
Also, several fire departments from across the state of Georgia have also been invited to participate, in addition to representatives from the Georgia Fire Academy, Valdosta State University, Wiregrass Technical College and Georgia Military College.
