LOWNDES CO. GA (WTXL) - Two men were arrested in Lowndes County on Thursday; one for providing a false name and the second for child abuse and neglect according to the Sheriff's Office.
Law enforcement went to the residence of Fredrick Moreland on Thursday to serve out warrants for 2 counts of child abuse and 3 counts of aggravated child neglect in Lee County, Florida.
While deputies say Moreland was arrested without incident, a second man at the home, Terrell Dante Washington, gave officers a false name and was arrested when his true identity was discovered.
Both men were taken to the Lowndes County Jail.
