Two dogs dead after house fire in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla (TFD)-- Around 1 p.m. Thursday, the Tallahassee Fire Department responded to a single story house fire in the 1800 Block of Tyndall Drive. Upon arrival firefighters say the house was consumed in flames. It took 10 minutes to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported at the scene but firefighters did find two dogs inside the home that died of smoke inhalation.

The cost of damages are estimated at $90,000 and investigations of what exactly caused the fire are ongoing.
