TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--A suspected gang member is arrested in an undercover drug bust in Leon County.
During a two month investigation, the Leon County Sheriff's Office says undercover detectives bought crack cocaine from 33-year old John Paul Scott.
They also searched his home on Knoxville Lane finding ammunition and several guns, along with packages of crack cocaine and marijuana ready to sell. Deputies say Scott is a career criminal and was booked into the Leon County Jail on weapons and drug charges.
In separate drug investigation, the Leon County Sheriff's Office arrests 24-year old John Elliot Lewis. Lewis is accused of selling pot to undercover detectives.
He is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and maintaining a drug house. Detectives searched his home on Timberwood Circle North confiscating three pounds of marijuana and $1,700 in cash.
