Tifton Police Department offers reward in murder case

TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL)--A reward is now being offered in a Tifton man's murder.

The Tifton Police Department will give $1,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for shooting and killing 22-year-old Jessie James Harris II.

It happened August 18 in his home.

Harris was known as "Bam" to his family and friends. He was the father of a four-year-old son who was in the house at the time of the murder.

Officers say they can't give the family their loved one back, but they would like to give them answers and justice.
