Three Gadsden County teens charged in Tallahassee shooting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Three 19 year olds from Gadsden County have been charged with attempted murder and armed robbery in connection to a shooting at Seminole Grand apartments.

The Tallahassee Police Department says they responded to Seminole Grand apartments at 1505 West Tharpe Street Thursday night about a shooting.

Upon arrival officers learned that three suspects had committed a robbery, with one of the suspects shooting at the victim who was still on scene and unharmed. 

All three suspects then left in a black Nissan sedan which was later found by an officer enroute to the incident location.

Once additional officers arrived, a traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 10, and all three occupants were detained. Inside the vehicle, officers found the victim’s property that was taken during the robbery and the handgun used in the shooting. 

All three suspects, Jordan Thomas, Corry Brown, and Myles Dixon, were arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.

Their charges are as follows:

Jordan D. Thomas, 19, Quincy - Robbery with a firearm

Corry L. Brown II, 19, Quincy - Robbery with a firearm, attempted homicide.

Myles R. Dixon, 19, of Midway - Possession of marijuana under 20 grams, aggravated battery cause bodily harm, robbery with a firearm, attempted homicide
