TAYLOR COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Corrections arrested three correctional officers for the beating of an inmate.
Correctional officer Steven Hall, correctional officer Kenneth Hightower and Sergeant Richard Tuten worked at the Taylor Correctional Institution.
Hightower is charged with battery of an inmate, and Hall and Tuten are charged with battery of an inmate and falsifying reports after attacking an inmate unjustly, according to an affidavit.
The inmate suffered from non-life threatening injuries.
Following the arrests, the officers were transported to the Taylor County Jail.
