THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - A man wanted for a shooting in Thomasville has been arrested.

32-year-old Jamiah Monroe, the man wanted in connection to the Sunday shooting on Andrews Street, has been taken into custody.

The victim, 20-year-old James Howard, is in stable condition at Archbold Memorial Hospital.

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Thomasville police need your help tracking down a suspect in a shooting Sunday.

Police say Jamiah Monroe is wanted for aggravated assault.

The shooting happened on Andrews Street by Wright Street.

One person was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Anyone who knows where Monroe is should call 911 and not approach him.

Police say he's considered armed and dangerous.
