TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Winds from Hurricane Michael downed trees and power lines. Now many customers are left wondering when they'll have power again.

A representative with Talquin Electric says that while it may take some time, crew members are working 16 hour days to try to restore power quickly, but also safely.

"There was severe damage that were across our Liberty County area, as well as our Western Gadsden County sustained a lot of damage as well as our other areas," said Maciel Green with Talquin Electric. "If we just ask everyone just to be patient and to understand that we are out there. We started as soon as the winds allowed us to be out there."

Green says the Baker-Centerville area and Killearn substation should be restored Friday and they expect to have restoration done for all Talquin customers in Leon, Gadsden, and Liberty by the end of day Saturday.
