TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Hundreds packed into Kleman Plaza for Tallahassee PRIDEFEST Saturday.
It's an annual celebration designed to promote peace and understanding among diverse cultures, races, creeds, genders and sexual identities. City hall used the event as a platform to celebrate the contributions the LGBTQ community makes to the advancement of the Capital City.
"The people in our community were your neighbors, you coworkers, friends and were just out here being ourselves and being authentic enjoying being citizens of Tallahassee," said Josh Willoughby, PRIDEFEST Director.
