TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is now accepting applications for the TAC Students Summer Academy Leadership Program.
The program is designed to prepare high school students to be leaders in every phase of their lives.
It's led by police officers, investigators, and other professionals in the community.
It will last five days and will feature classes on decision making, planning for the future and more.
On the final day, students will try to solve a mock crime scenarios using the skills they have learned during the course of the program.
The class will be limited to 20 students for the summer academy and the process is competitive.
