TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A dyed Easter egg is still intact after 23 years.
Lynn Gleason says her family were dyeing Easter eggs 23 years ago on Easter Sunday, when they came across an egg with a cross-liked shape on its shell.
Gleason said to her husband, "Oh, I like the cross you put on this egg," and her husband replied, “What? I didn’t put anything on any of the eggs.
Gleason's daughter also said she didn’t put anything on the egg either.
"I thought he was pulling my leg when he said 'I didn't do that'. So I really wasn't going to call the news station, I just said that because I thought they'll stop me before I call," said Gleason. "They both sat there and looked at me and that's when I knew they did not really put that on there."
Gleason still doesn't know how the cross shaped figure appeared but added the best part of her discovery is that after 23 years the egg still hasn't rotten.
