TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Friday was Tallahassee's Greek Food Festival, the free event kicked off at 10 a.m.
The festival featured Greek treats and dishes like gyros.
Greece has a rich tradition of village feasts and committee chairman Harriet Kanelidis said " we're excited to share our culture."
The event also featured performances by Greek dancers and a traditional Greek band.
The feast brought together the young and the old connected by generations of families.
