TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - These dogs and cats are hoping their wagging tails and droopy eyes will entice you to open your wallets and your homes this Giving Tuesday.
The Tallahassee Animal Shelter Foundation is accepting donations Tuesday in hopes to raise $25,000 to help animals in need get well and find homes.
Organizers said that they are getting community support as well. Local businesses have pledged to match whatever donations the foundation receives.
This shelter also specializes in working with dogs with special needs and veterinary care, allowing them to get the help they need.
The shelter is a non-profit organization, so the public's help is necessary to cut down the over population.
