VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta Police said that a suspect involved in a shooting that wounded one man at East Park Apartments has turned himself in.
The Valdosta Police Department said that Antwain Williams, 22, turned himself in at the Lowndes County Jail Tuesday around 11 a.m.
They said that on Friday, around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired the parking lot of Park East Apartments.
When they got to the scene, they found 25-year-old Fredirick Keeley and began giving him first aid treatment. Reports say he appeared to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported by the paramedics to a local hospital for further treatment. They said Keeley is now in good condition.
Williams was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a felony crime.
