OCALA, FL (RNN) - One student was injured in a school shooting at Forest High School.
The injured student was struck in the ankle and is being taken to the hospital, according to ClickOrlando.com. His injury is non-life-threatening.
The Ocala Star-Banner said police got a call about the shooting at 8:39 a.m., and the shooter was in custody by 8:42 a.m.
As of 10 a.m., all Marion County middle and high schools were still on lockdown.
A student at the school, who was near the shooting, told the newspaper that the shooter was standing in the hallway, shot at a closed classroom door, dropped his weapon and tried to hide.
The shooter has not been identified, but authorities said the shooter also is a student at the school.
A person who identified himself as a student at the school tweeted a photo of the inside of one of the classroom, where furniture was apparently piled to prevent a shooter from entering.

The shooting at the schools comes on the day students across the U.S. are walking out to remember the Columbine massacre 19 years ago, and to honor the 17 people killed in Parkland in February, CNN reported.
In 1999, 12 students and one teacher were killed at Columbine High School in Colorado - years before most high school students were born.
More than 2,000 walkouts are planned across the country, at least one in every state.
However, this round of walkouts is not as popular as the ones after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas massacre in February.
Marion County School District, the school district where the latest school shooting took place, said their schools were not participating in the walkout.
"Instead of walking out of class, Marion County students will constructively use a 30-minute time period to exchange ideas, discuss differing opinions, and offer hard-thought solutions on how our community should address school tragedies like the Parkland, Florida shooting in February," the school district told ClickOrlando.com.
