HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A search is in its fourth day for a southern Nevada teen missing since his mother and younger brother were found stabbed to death in their apartment.

Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said Monday that 16-year-old Adrian Navarro hasn't been located since his mother and brother were found dead Friday.

The Clark County coroner says 40-year-old Elvira Canales-Gomez and 9-year-old Cesar Navarro died of stab wounds.

Their bodies were discovered after Canales failed to show up for work as a chef at the Venetian resort since Wednesday, and the younger boy didn't appear at school.

Police have said Adrian Navarro isn't a suspect.

The teen's father also is named Adrian Navarro. He lives in California, and issued a plea in Henderson for his son to contact family members.
