SARASOTA Co., Fla (WWSB) -- The Wildlife, Inc. Education & Rehabilitation Center saved the day for a river otter that was stuck in a storm drain in Sarasota over the weekend.
They rescued the otter with the help of local residents that spotted it.
"I gave one of them the net to contain the otter while I could safely pick it up with my gloves," said Devon, from the Wildlife Center.
The otter was checked and was healthy. It was released back into a nearby lake where it's family was.
