HOMESTEAD, FL (WWSB) -- Dusty "Wildman" Crum, of Sarasota, captured what he called the "Andre the Giant versus Hulk Hogan" of all snakes.

It’s the biggest snake caught since the python eradication project started.

The South Florida Water Management District is paying hunters $8.10 per hour to catch snakes and a fee based on how big the snakes are that they catch.

This snake was weighed about 130 pounds and was 16-foot 10-inches long. That is a $375 paycheck.

The program was started to stop the invasive species from terrorizing the native wildlife.

Hunters are also given extra for snakes with eggs and this one had 78 eggs. This snake was a big catch but still not the largest, that record belongs to a 18-foot python that weighed over 160 pounds.
