MIAMI (AP) - Police say officers shot a South Florida man with a stun gun after he hung onto the hood of a moving car with a knife in his mouth.
The Florida Highway Patrol tells news outlets that the unidentified man jumped onto a woman's car as she drove on a highway Tuesday night.
FHP spokesman Joe Sanchez says the man remained on the hood for about a mile with a knife in his mouth until the woman saw troopers and pulled over.
Sanchez says there was an altercation between the man and a trooper and the trooper used a stun gun to subdue the man.
The man was arrested and taken to a hospital for evaluation. No one was hurt. It is unclear what charges the man is facing.
