Police looking for suspect in Subway armed robbery, $1,000 award offered

QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - Quincy Police are asking for the public's help in finding a person who robbed a Subway restaurant.

On Saturday, around 11:36 p.m., Quincy Police responded to an armed robbery at the Subway restaurant at 1013 W. Jefferson Street. They say the suspect, who was armed with knife, jumped over the counter and robbed employees.

After obtaining cash, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is a black male who had a blue mask, blue and red hat, black t-shirt, blue and white shorts, white shoes and white socks. He was armed with a knife.

The suspect stands about 5-foot-9 and weighs about 190 pounds. Police say he had a small mustache and appeared to be an older man.

Police are asking anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact Quincy Police at (850) 627-7111. You are also asked to call Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

If your information leads to an arrest, you could receive a reward of up to $1,000.
