DECATUR COUNTY, GA (WTXL) - Police have ended an afternoon high-speed chase that started in Seminole County.

In a post on Facebook, Bainbridge Public Safety said that they, Georgia State Patrol, and Decatur County Sheriff's Department received a call around 1:45 p.m. It was from Seminole County in reference to a high-speed chase heading east into Decatur County.

The vehicle was on Highway 94 when a trooper responded to the call and laid out spike strips near Dothan Road. The car hit the strips, causing the tires to blow, and skidded into a ditch.

The driver was arrested and returned to Seminole County.
