TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Monday marked the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but today you'll start to see even more pink around town in honor of the cause.
That's because Paint the Town Pink begins Thursday and many businesses and schools in our community are joining in.
WTXL ABC's Jada Williams was live Thursday morning with a closer look at the community wide effort to fight breast cancer.
Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is getting schools, businesses and even people in the community to go pink and raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Paint the Town Pink begins Thursday and you'll likely see these signs all over the town. But that's not all.
Many involved with paint the town pink are doing things such as selling bracelets and pink lemonade and hosting charity events.
Painting Tallahassee Pink has grown over the years, and many directly affected by breast cancer have taken noticed.
Many businesses and agencies involved are honoring specific men and women affected by the disease.
Each location will have more information on their specific cause.
