VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) -- Within the past few weeks, the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office received many reports of thefts from vehicles in residential neighborhoods. Detectives arrested one person linked to the incidents Monday afternoon.
Joshua Robinson, 19, was arrested at his home on Emerson Way, where deputies said they recovered some of the property that was stolen. He was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and is scheduled to appear in an arraignment hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Chris Prine said Robinson is only one of the suspected involved. “Our detectives are continuing to examine the evidence that has been collected and are working to link other cases. Additional charges will most likely be filed and if other people are identified as being involved more arrest will be made” said Prine.
