BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) -  Bainbridge Public Safety Officers are looking for a suspect who stole a cash register drawer from Walmart.

On March 25th, officers were called to Walmart on Tallahassee Highway in reference to the theft of a cash register drawer.

A Walmart Loss Prevention employee told officers that just after midnight, a black male, approximately 6-foot-tall and 180 pounds, entered the electronics area, pulled out the cash drawer from the cabinet, and cut the data cable.

He then proceeded to the Photo Center and took a backpack off of a rack, and then exited the store through a rear emergency exit door.

A damaged cash drawer was located laying on the ground just outside of the exit.

Officers searched the area near where the cash drawer had been found and located the backpack.

If you recognize the man caught on video surveillance footage, please call Investigator Chip Nix at 229-726-4119.
