TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - In Tallahassee, the Oasis Center for Women and Girls is hoping to help women take their bank accounts to the next level.
They're doing so through a free, monthly financial education workshop called "Women MoneyStrong."
This is new video of Tuesday morning's workshop, focusing more on financial freedom, going beyond just budgeting.
"Its been phenomenal the response has been wonderful today was a real interactive session it allowed for folks to exchange back and fourth ideas for how we can continue to improve," said Lisa Brown, president and CEO of Tallahassee-Leon Federal Credit Union.
That empowerment came in the form of valuable skills, like how to save, spend and earn money, all to help bolster financial freedom and security.
