TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - For a group of people, their dreams have come true at the Tallahassee Police Department.
TPD swore in 13 new officers Friday morning.
The new officers shared the moment with family and friends even letting loved ones pin their shiny new badge onto their uniforms.
One fresh face says trainings at other jobs helped her prepare to become an officer but putting those trainings to the test is completely different. And that this has been a lifelong dream that's she's proud to have accomplished.
The ceremony was led by Tallahassee Police chief Michael DeLeo.
