TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Easter Sunday usually brings a lot of people to church, and Sunday morning, thousands joined New Mount Zion AME Church at the Centre of Tallahassee.
This happened at the Pavilion, where folks enjoyed a time of praise and worship.
Organizers say they've tried to plan this event for more than three years and are excited and blessed to finally share this experience with the community.
"This has been a long time coming we have been trying to plan it for years," said Reverend Anton Elwood, Pastor of New Mt. Zion AME Church. "We finally by the grace of God are able to do it this year to open it up to the entire community and it's been a blessing."
New Mt. Zion also had activities and a service for local youth in the community.
