(WTXL) — Mark your calendars then pick up some hot cocoa and holiday cookies because 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' will air this week on ABC.
The animated holiday classic PEANUTS special will air on ABC at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 5.
In the digital remake of the 1965 original special, Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism that he sees everywhere during the Christmas season.
The hour long Emmy Award-winning special will include a series of Christmas-themed animated stories entitled “Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales,” based on creator Charles Schulz’s work.
In "Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales," each of the beloved PEANUTS characters – Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Sally, star in his or her own charming animated vignette.
