CHULA, Ga. (WTXL) -- The Tift County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for murder in the October 30 death of his wife.
Deputies say 43 year-old Timmy Thompson is currently being held in the Tift County Jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault.
This comes after an autopsy of his wife, Peggy Michelle Thompson, showed that her death was a homicide.
Deputies say she was killed at their home in Chula, Georgia back in October.
