PENSACOLA, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Escambia County Sheriff's Office report that the body of 12 year old, Naomi Jones, has been found in a creek in Escambia County.
Her mother says she disappeared five days ago from their apartment complex, leaving her phone behind.
On Monday, June 5 around 5:30 p.m., the ECSO revealed that her body was found in Eight Mile Creek near Detroit and Ashland Avenues.
An investigation is underway.
