An Indian man says he plans to sue his parents for bringing him into this world without his consent.

According to India's The Print, Raphael Samuel of New Delhi alleges his parents had him for their own enjoyment and wants other children to know they don't owe their parents anything.

"My life has been amazing, but I don’t see why I should put another life through the rigamarole of school and finding a career, especially when they didn’t ask to exist," Samuel said.

Samuel's mother sent a statement to BBC saying, "I must admire my son's temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers. And if Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault."

Samuel's view is aligned with the theory of "anti-natalism," which claims that children shouldn't be forced to be born.

According to BBC, Samuel created a Facebook page that features 'anti-natalist' messages like, "Isn't forcing a child into this world and forcing it to have a career, kidnapping, and slavery?"
