COSHOCTON, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio judge has set a $2 million bond for one of the men charged in the abduction and slaying of an elderly couple found inside their burned-out car last month.

Twenty-one-year-old Jeffery Stewart was charged with one count of murder in the deaths of 88-year-old Doyle Chumney and his 79-year-old wife, Lillian, of Strasburg. The couple's remains were found Jan. 22 in their torched car along a country road in Coshocton County.

Family members reported the Chumneys missing the day before. A second suspect remains at large and is also wanted in connection with armed robberies in three states over the weekend.

A Coshocton County prosecutor said Monday that evidence against Stewart will be presented to a grand jury. Stewart was arrested Saturday and doesn't have an attorney.
