THOMAS COUNTY, Ga.-- Volunteers aimed to "Keep Thomas County Beautiful." They participated in the Great American Cleanup Kickoff.
On Saturday, April 20 teams from the Clerk of Superior Court, Thomas University, Harper school’s Emerging Young Leaders, Thomasville Toyota, Girl Power youth group, the Virtuous Girls youth group of Meigs and Southwest Georgia Technical College.
The event was hosted by Keep Thomas county Beautiful. Volunteers cleaned up roadways and parks throughout the county.
“We still have groups volunteering to clean up in areas around the county,” Pam Lister, Executive Director said. “We will provide supplies for any group who wishes to organize a cleanup.”
