UPDATE (5:40 p.m.) -- The center of Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall officially in northern Dixie County, with estimated maximum winds of 65 mph.  The storm is continuing its northeastward movement at 17 mph.

Tropical Storm Andrea will be making landfall in Dixie county within the next hour or so. The main passing of the center of the storm will be to the southeast of the area along with the bulk of the moisture and rain. The strongest wind gusts associated with this tropical storm will remain to the southeast of us as well, but we can't rule our some locally gusty winds within the rain bands.

Since the bulk of the moisture is to the eastern side of the storm, once the storm makes landfall the bulk of the rain will have passed and showers will start to diminish after the dinner time hour.
