LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WTXL) - On Monday, possible tornado was spotted 7 miles east of Valdosta moving east at 25 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS was tracking the tornado in that area as of 11:43 am. It was spotted by local law enforcement.
There was a Tornado Warning in effect for southeastern Lanier County and East Central Lowndes County until 12:15 Monday afternoon.
The emergency manager reported damage at Langdale Forest Products with one building collapsed. There are also reports of railroad cars overturned and roof damage on several buildings in the area.
The South Georgia Medical Center says that they are treating four people with minor injuries related to the tornado. They say that there were two patients in stable condition, and as of Tuesday, they are in good condition.
