TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Florida A&M University student is now doing what she can to give back to her community with her community-based organization We See You.

Janiece Hylton launched We See You in September and in a few short months, she has hosted food drives for the homeless, collected warm weather gear and collected toys for children.

"Just to know that even though I am young and I probably don't have as many resources as possible, that there's people surrounding me that want to help my vision come to life," said Hylton. "And just to give back to those individuals who may not have as much as me is just a warm feeling."

Hylton is currently a senior at FAMU and said We See You will grow into something bigger in the coming years.

"In 2021, I have a lot of ideas, more projects coming," said Hylton. "Hopefully, COVID will lessen so we can get out there more, but, the whole gist of We See You."

She said she hopes to eventually have a brick and mortar place for people in need and also provide mentoring for children. You can find more about the organization on Instagram @_we.see.you or by clicking here.
