TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tri-Eagle Sales and Proof Brewing Company have partnered with Second Harvest of the Big Bend to deliver food and hand sanitizer to senior citizens in need.

Volunteers from Proof Brewing Company and Tri-Eagle Sales came together to deliver supplies to local senior citizen apartment complexes.

Tri-Eagle Sales, a local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler, helped transport food through door-to-door delivery services while Proof Brewing Company provided their specially made hand sanitizer to go along with the food deliveries.

“We are grateful to be a part of this Second Harvest initiative in providing food and Proof Brewing hand sanitizer to our local Tallahassee community. This is one of the many initiatives we have in place to help our community members who are in need,” said Brittany Foster, Marketing Director for Tri-Eagle Sales.

The deliveries were done in conjunction with the Second Harvest of the Big Bend's senior grocery program.

That program helps feed impoverished seniors in the community at the end of the month, when their financial resources have been exhausted.

Currently, the senior grocery program provides food, including cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, proteins, grains, fresh bread, and produce, to more than 725 seniors each month.

“We are proud to help local seniors and donate life-saving hand sanitizer. Tri-Eagle Sales and Second Harvest of the Big Bend are fantastic community partners, and we are honored to help give with them,” said Bryan Smith, Marketing Director for Proof Brewing Company.
