TPD: Unidentified gunman shot up Tallahassee home with two people inside

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after an unknown person shot up an occupied home on Alabama Drive early Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday around 3:02 a.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 700 block of Alabama Street. Responding officers discovered two men were inside the home when an unknown person shot it up.

While on scene, officers found numerous bullet holes in the front of the home. Thankfully. no one was injured.

TPD’s Forensics Unit responded to process the scene.

TPD Officer Damon Miller has concerns with this case considering it happened near Griffin Middle School.

"The shooting is very concerning to us. I'm just happy that it happened as early as it did, around 3 am, that way students were not harmed in any way shape or form or in any danger from it happening," said Miller.
