TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — One of the best places in the world to play disc golf is right here in Tallahassee.
UDisc named Tom Brown Park as a top destination for disc golfers.
The sport has almost the same rules as golf except you throw a disc at a target.
UDisc says the course at Tom Brown Park has a good variety of targets and offers good elevation for a Florida course.
Disc golfers here in Tallahassee agree.
"I mean I love it out here. The course is great. It's kept up really well. I played a couple of different ones and so far this one is my favorite," said Blake Hammaker, a disc golfer who plays at least once a week.
There are 24 holes at Tom Brown Park. The course is ranked 61 out of 100 in their 2021 list released on Feb. 10.
UDisc is an app intially released in 2012 that allows players to discover courses worldwide, keep score with friends, track throws and round statistics, according to their website.
